I was recently prescribed Aspirin 300mg Suppositories 12's to help with severe headaches and fever. I've never had to use suppositories before, so this is new territory for me. I've read about the possible side effects, and while they seem manageable, I'm a bit worried about the serious ones. Has anyone else used this medication? I'd love to hear about your experiences and any tips you might have for using these suppositories. Also, how do you manage the rectal irritation that can occur? Any advice would be appreciated!

What’s the alternative for people who can't swallow pills, but don't want to go the rectal route??

Seriously, the idea of taking a suppository just seems so medieval. Has anyone tried something more modern to deal with these issues?

I had to use them after a bad bout of the flu. They worked, but the side effects were a bit tough to deal with. Make sure to talk to your doctor if you experience any serious issues.

I couldn’t believe it when my doctor prescribed these. I was so embarrassed at the pharmacy, but they did the job.

I've used these before and they worked wonders for my migraines. Just make sure to follow the instructions carefully and stay hydrated. The rectal irritation can be a bit uncomfortable, but it usually goes away quickly.

I can't believe these things are still a thing. Seems like there should be a better way to deal with pain and fever.

Honestly, if you can’t swallow pills, these are a good alternative. Just make sure you’re comfortable with the process before you start.

If you're experiencing rectal irritation, try applying some hydrocortisone cream after use. It helped me a lot.
