I've been on Atomoxetine for a couple of years now, and it's been a game-changer for my ADHD. I had a few side effects at the beginning like constipation and dry mouth, but they went away after a while. I find that staying hydrated and eating a lot of fiber helps with the constipation. I switched from Adderall to Atomoxetine and noticed a big difference. The impulsivity and hyperactivity calmed down a lot, though if you have a history of heart problems this may not be the best fit for you. It's worth considering too.

Just a heads up, Atomoxetine can interfere with other medications, especially ones for high blood pressure. If you're on other meds, make sure to talk to your doctor first, even if you think they are unrelated.

I’ve been on Atomoxetine for six weeks and it's been great. I’ve noticed some improvement in my focus, and the side effects have been manageable. I had a weird side effect where I felt really dizzy and sleepy at first. It got better after a few weeks, though. Stick with it and I recommend talking to your doctor about it, but be patient.

I had trouble with the sudden weight loss that some people experience. I felt weak and tired all the time. When I stopped taking Atomoxetine, everything got better, but my ADHD symptoms came back too.

Has anyone else had liver issues? My friend had to switch meds because his liver enzymes were elevated. That's one of the side effects that's scary to me.

A tip from a friend who's a nurse: if you experience a painful erection, go to the ER. That sounds scary to me, anyway.
