Atropine Sulf 1% Ophth Ointment: Helpful or Harmful? Share Your Experiences!
I've been prescribed Atropine Sulf 1% Ophth Ointment for an eye condition, and I'm a bit nervous about the side effects. I've heard people say it works wonders for some, while others have had terrible experiences. I'd love to hear from anyone who has used this ointment. How did it affect you? Did you experience any of the severe side effects, or were they just minor inconveniences? Also, any tips on how to manage the side effects would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for sharing your stories!

I had a pretty bad reaction to it. I had swelling, itching, and trouble breathing. I had to go to the ER, but everything turned out okay. Just be careful out there.
I think it’s funny how everyone’s eyes get huge. I mean my friends really were adamant about this even though I didn't experience any side effects.
Always remember to report any side effects. I can't stand someone getting in trouble with medical care because of some side effects. But remember you have options if you're not happy with your care.
I've worked in a pharmacy for 5 years and I've never seen anyone have as good an experience with Atropine as I did. I think it's really important to note that the side effects are different for everyone, but this drug is actually really helpful.
I've had a similar experience. I was pretty uncomfortable, especially at night. Luckily the side effects were temporary and the treatment worked.
I've used Atropine Sulf 1% twice and it wasn't fun. The blurred vision was unbearable and I couldn't do my daily tasks. Plus, my eyes felt so dry. I'm glad I only needed it for a short while.
I’m a little concerned about this whole thing. I have a history of allergic reactions. Should I be worried?
I had the worst experience when my eyes started to change and a doctor told me that it was normal. So be aware of this when using this medicine.
The ointment was a lifesaver for my son. His doctor prescribed it for corneal abrasion and it really helped with the pain and inflammation. He did have some drowsiness and blurred vision, but nothing too bad.
