Seriously, if you experience any severe symptoms, don’t wait it out. I put off calling my doctor and ended up in the ER. It was scary, but I’m okay now. Just go to the doctor as soon as you feel something’s wrong.
Did you know that Avalide can cause changes in blood sugar levels? It's not just about the blood pressure, so keep an eye on that too.
I’d be careful about the electrolyte imbalance. I’ve seen it happen with other diuretics, and it can be pretty serious. Make sure you’re getting regular check-ups and monitoring your electrolytes.
I think the risk of skin cancer is a bit overblown. I’ve been on it for years and haven’t had any issues. But still, wear sunscreen!
Has anyone talked to their doctor about switching to a different combo if the side effects get too intense? I had to switch after my kidneys started acting up.
