Avoiding the Chemical Cocktail: My Experience with Formaldehyde 10% Solution for Wart Removal
I've been using Formaldehyde 10% Solution to treat stubborn warts, and I must say, it's been quite an experience. This strong chemical solution works by drying out and hardening the affected skin, effectively killing the wart tissue. It's also used as a disinfectant and preservative, but that's beside the point when it comes to medical use.
I started using it after my doctor prescribed it, and while it's effective, it's not without its downsides. The skin irritation is real, and it's important to be aware of the rare but serious side effects like allergic reactions. If you experience any of the symptoms listed, don't hesitate to seek medical help immediately.
I've had some minor skin irritation, but nothing too severe. I've found that applying a thin layer and covering it with a bandage helps reduce irritation. The process is a bit tedious, but it's worth it to get rid of those pesky warts.
Always remember to consult your doctor if you experience any unusual side effects or if the irritation becomes unbearable. It's also a good idea to report any side effects to the FDA for better tracking and safety. If you've used this solution or have any tips, share them below!

I had no idea this was used for wart treatment. How long does it typically take to see results? And what if it doesn't work after a few applications?
I am not a doctor but formaldehyde is a known carcinogen and used to preserve dead things. I would think twice before putting on a living thing.
seriously, this thread is filled with doctors, right? How come no one is mentioning the potential cancer risks with this stuff? There's evidence that formaldehyde is carcinogenic...
This stuff is straight out of a horror movie. Make sure you apply it carefully and don’t get it on healthy skin. It can burn like hell if you’re not careful. I had to stop using it because it was too painful, but it did work pretty well for the warts. I switched to a more gentle solution for the same stubborn wart. Just be careful guys , it is crazy strong.
Always keep it out of reach of children, but we all know that won't stop them from trying to help treat your warts. My kiddo wanted to try some solution too.
I’ve been using Formaldehyde 10% Solution for a few weeks now, and the results are amazing. The warts are almost completely gone, but the irritation is intense. I’ve been using a gentle moisturizer to soothe the skin, and it’s helped a lot. I really wish there was a less harsh solution for treating warts.
