Azithromycin 600mg Tablets: What Are the Urgent Side Effects I Should Be Aware Of?
I've been prescribed Azithromycin 600mg Tablets and I'm a bit nervous. The list of possible side effects is pretty scary, and I'm wondering if anyone has experienced any of these or has advice on how to handle them. I know it's rare, but I want to be prepared. Has anyone had issues with severe allergic reactions or changes in vision? Any tips on recognizing these urgent side effects would be greatly appreciated. Also, what do I do if I think I'm having a bad reaction? Do I need to go to the hospital or can I just call my doctor? And what about the less urgent side effects? Anybody here have some stomach issues, headaches, or weird hearing changes that went away?

I had a rash after taking these. Scared the heck out of me but turns out it was just an allergic reaction.
What's the fasting rule, if you are taking this with food?
I was on Azithromycin and had some pretty bad stomach issues. Definitely call your doctor if you feel sick
I had some chest pains and went to the ER, turned out it was just acid reflux, but better safe than sorry.
I’ve had Azithromycin a few times and never had any issues. I always take it with food, though.
If you notice any changes in your hearing and vision I would definitely talk to your doctor ASAP. That is not normal.
I got a weird rash on my face. And when I went to the doctor, she said I was having an allergic reaction. I know a lot of people don't know this, but it's not just about the stomach.
You should always go to the ER if you feel like you can't breathe. That's not worth playing around with.
I took these for a while and experienced some hearing changes. Spoke to my doctor and they stopped the medication after a couple of weeks
I got really bad diarrhea from Azithromycin. Make sure you stay hydrated if that happens to you.
