My doctor mentioned the risk of C. diff-associated diarrhea. He said it's rare but super serious. I was freaking out for sure. I have to say though the antibiotic worked and my infection is finally clearing up.

If you have severe diarrhea while on Aztreonam, don’t ignore it. It could be a sign of CDAD. My cousin had it, and it was miserable. Trust me on that.
I've had two friends experience severe allergic reactions. One had hives and swelling, and the other had trouble breathing. Scary stuff! If you notice anything weird, get to the ER.
