I've been using B-D Posi Flush 0.9% Inj 10ml for about a month now for my IV line maintenance, and it's been a bit of a rollercoaster. On one hand, it keeps my line flowing smoothly and prevents blockages. But I've also experienced some side effects that have me a little worried. I've heard about rare side effects like allergic reactions. I've always been careful to flush slowly and monitor for any unusual reactions, but has anyone else had any serious side effects? Also, what are your thoughts on the necessity of flushing with sterile saline? I've heard some people think it's not always needed. And if anyone has tips on managing side effects or any other advice, I'd really appreciate it! Also, if side effects do become an issue, does anyone know how to report them properly? I'm curious if anyone has experience with this and has reported side-effects to the FDA.

I've had some mild itching around the IV site, but nothing too bad. Just keep an eye on any signs of infection.

I always try to flush my IV line with sterile water instead of saline. It's supposed to be just as effective and less harsh on the skin. I haven't had any issues so far. But it's always good to check with your doctor before making any changes to your treatment plan.

I've been using this for years and never had any issues. Just make sure to follow the instructions carefully. I always make sure to flush slowly and check for any signs of infection or irritation. I've never had an issue.

I had a friend who had a severe allergic reaction to this. It was scary—she had trouble breathing and her face swelled up. Lucky for us, we were at the hospital when it happened, and they were able to treat her immediately.

I've been using B-D Posi Flush for a while now and it’s been fine. I just make sure to monitor for any signs of irritation or allergic reaction. The good news is that side effects like allergic reactions are pretty rare. But it’s always good to be cautious. If you're worried about side effects, simply keep an eye out for any unusual symptoms and consult your doctor if you're concerned.

I think the key is to use it as directed and keep an eye out for any red flags. If you start to feel unwell or notice any unusual symptoms, don't hesitate to call your doctor.

I had a bad reaction once—redness and swelling around the insertion site. I had to stop using it right away, but luckily, the symptoms went away once I switched to a different saline solution. Every body responds differently. Just be cautious. If you have any severe symptoms, it is better to go to the doctor right away.
