Hello everyone, I recently started taking Bariatric Mvit W/iron Chew Tabs after my gastric bypass surgery. I was curious to find out if anyone else has tried this multivitamin and how it has impacted their health. The supplement is crucial for us post-surgery patients as our bodies absorb nutrients differently, but I do worry about the side effects. I've heard some scary stories about allergic reactions, so I'd love to hear from anyone who's had a similar experience. Also, how do you manage the common side effects like upset stomach or constipation? Any tips would be greatly appreciated! Has anyone else noticed changes in stool color? I've been spotting green but haven't had a bowel movement that was black or tarry, which I know can be a sign of something more serious. Please share your stories and advice if you have it!

These chew tabs have been a game-changer for me. I had a rough time with iron absorption after my surgery, but these have helped a lot. I have to say, the green stool thing is weird at first, but my doctor assured me it's just the iron. As long as it's not black or tarry, you should be fine. Just stay hydrated and keep an eye on your symptoms.

I'm just glad these exist. It's hard enough to get all the nutrients you need after surgery, and these make it so much easier. I'm grateful for them.

I switched to these from another brand, and I definitely notice a difference. My energy levels have improved, and I feel better overall. Plus, they are chewable, which makes them easy to take, especially when I get nauseous. Just make sure to follow the dosage instructions carefully.

I started taking these after my sleeve surgery, and I actually love the taste. They're like a chewy candy and not at all like a normal vitamin. I do get constipated sometimes, but I just take some stool softeners and it helps. Just be careful and monitor side effects. None of these vitamins are worth feeling sick.

I had an allergic reaction to these tabs. It was scary—a swollen tongue and all. I switched to a different brand and haven't had any problems since. Do be cautious and know the signs. Luckily I recognized them in time.

I'm curious about the long-term effects of taking these. Like, will I have to be on them forever or can I eventually switch to a regular multivitamin? I'm hoping to wean off them at some point.

I've been taking these chew tabs for about a year now, and they've been a lifesaver. My doctor recommended them post-surgery, and they've helped me avoid any deficiencies. I did have some stomach pain at first, but it went away after a few weeks. Just make sure to take them with food to minimize any discomfort.

I had some stomach cramps and that freaked me out, but my doc said it was probably just the body adjusting to the extra iron and to definitely stay on it. Any other side effects I should be worried about?

I've actually heard of some people getting diarrhea from the iron in these. Anyone else have that issue?
