I started using Dorzolamide 2% eye drops a few weeks ago to manage high pressure in my eyes. The doctor prescribed it to prevent vision damage by reducing the fluid in my eyes. However, I am a bit worried about the serious side effects listed. Has anyone else experienced any of these?

Anyone with experience using this medication and dealt with severe side effects? What was your experience and how did you handle it?

Also, what about the drug as a whole? Has it worked well for anyone besides me?

I noticed some minor side effects like burning and stinging, but I have been okay. I just want to be prepared for any worst-case scenarios.

The bad taste in my mouth was the worst part for me. I had to deal with it for a couple of weeks, but it was better than dealing with high pressure in my eyes. It really does work well for that.

I was using the eye drop until I noticed a bad rash on my face. I went to the ER immediately. Turns out it was a reaction. Now I’m using a different eye drop.

I never had any side effects with this medication. My doctor said that everyone is different, but it was fine for me.

I've been using Dorzolamide for a while now and haven't had any major issues. Just a bit of stinging at first, but it goes away quickly. Don't let the side effects scare you off if you need it.

I've never experienced this kind of side effects. So far, I've been fine. These side effects sound very rare, according to the doctor. I won't worry much about it.

I did have one terrifying episode. I could not breath and felt tightness in the throat just after using eye drops. Immediately I went to the ER. Turns out I was having an allergic reaction, but thankfully the doctor helped me out. Be vigilant with this medication.

I had a bad time with this medication. Felt like I was having an allergic reaction and it was pretty frightening. Tightness in the chest, trouble breathing... I called 911 immediately. It was scary but I'm okay now. Go for non drug alternatives if it works for your doctor.

This is a good medication but really scary side effects. It’s important to be aware and monitor closely if you notice any of the symptoms.
