So I've been on Invega Trinza 410mg for about six months now, and it's been a bit of a journey. Initially, I was worried about the side effects, especially the potential for severe reactions, but so far, it's been manageable. I've had some dizziness and fatigue, but nothing too bad. Just wondering if anyone else has been on this medication and what their experience has been like. Have you noticed any improvements in symptoms? Any tips for dealing with the side effects? Thanks!

This stuff is a lifesaver! I had tried so many other medications, but they either didn’t work or the side effects were unbearable. The depot injection is a bit of a pain to go to the clinic every three months, but it’s worth it to not have to deal with daily pills. Plus, my psychiatrist told me to make sure I eat well and stay hydrated to minimize the side effects. Might sound obvious but it was a helpful reminder.

What’s the benefit of having this depot injection every 3 months over daily pills? Is it just convenience, or does it have any actual benefits in terms of how the medicine works?

I got the shivers just reading all the potential side effects. I hope Invega Trinza keeps helping me as it has.

The dizziness is a bummer but again - worth the pain. I’ve started doing light stretches every morning to help with the stiffness, and it’s really improved my mobility.

I’ve heard some horror stories about neuroleptic malignant syndrome. Anyone dealt with that or know anyone who has?

I’ve experienced some really severe anxiety when I started this med. My doc put me on a low dose of benzos to deal with it, which was a huge help. Has anyone else had a similar experience with anxiety? It was definitely a hurdle but I’m glad I stuck with it.

Just got prescribed this medication and feeling anxious. Any tips on how to tackle the initial side effects until I get used to it?

Absolutely! Invega Trinza has made a huge difference in my daily life. The long-acting formula means I don’t have to worry about taking pills every day, but I have to be honest, the side effects can be tough. Weight gain is a big one for me. I've had to seriously change my diet to cope with it. Also, the dizziness can be scary when I stand up too fast. But overall, it’s been worth it.

I’m curious, does anyone else have trouble with the injection site? I get this weird irritation that takes a few days to go away. Any tips for that?

I've been on Invega Trinza for a year now, and it's been life-changing. The hallucinations and delusions have significantly reduced, but I do experience weight gain and occasional dizziness.
