Cosopt PF Ophthalmic Solution is a combination of dorzolamide and timolol, used to treat glaucoma by lowering eye pressure. I've been using it for a few months now, and while it's been effective, I've experienced some minor side effects like eye irritation and blurry vision. I'm curious if anyone else has had similar experiences or, worse, any of the more severe side effects listed on the prescription label. Has anyone had issues with allergic reactions or something more serious? How did you handle it? I'd love to hear from both doctors and patients.

I've heard that some people have experienced changes in taste while using Cosopt. Has anyone else had this side effect? Also, what did you eat last when you noticed it? I'm dying to know!

I had a mild allergic reaction initially – swelling around the eyes and some itching. I immediately called my doctor, and they advised me to stop using it. It cleared up within a few days. No harm, no foul, but it was scary at the time. Always better to be cautious! I've since switched to another medication and it has been great.

Haven't had any issues so far. I've been on it for about 6 months. My eyes are definitely feeling better, no pain or pressure. Keep in mind if you have asthma (like me) timolol can be a bit risky. Just to be safe, have a chat with your doctor about it.

I've been on Cosopt for years. Never had any issues, but I did notice a taste change at first. It's not too bad and I'd still recommend it to people with glaucoma.

Cosopt saved my vision. I had super high eye pressure and this stuff brought it down quickly. No side effects for me, though. Just make sure you wash your hands before and after using it, folks! Basic hygiene!

If anyone's looking for a comprehensive list of side effects, check out this [link to FDA](https://www.fda.gov/medwatch) to really see what might come up. It's not super scary, but it is long! Always good to know.

I had to stop using Cosopt because of excessive sweating. Not cool, especially in the summer. My doctor switched me to something else, and I'm doing great now. But yeah, be aware of that side effect! People joke, but it's not a vacation!
