I recently started using Benzaclin 1-5% Gel 25gm to treat my persistent acne and I am feeling pretty confused. I've had great results so far, but I've been hearing a lot about some of the scary side effects this medication can cause. Has anyone else had any serious side effects or bad reactions to this medication? I want to hear your personal experiences and opinions about this medication. Can anyone offer a better alternative? This is complicated and I need real-world advice!

I've been using Benzaclin for a few months now and it's been a godsend for my acne. I didn't experience any side effects. It's true that the burning sensation when you first apply it can be intense, but it fades quickly. Give it a few weeks to see if it works for you

Are there any good moisturizers out there that work well with Benzaclin? I can't figure out how to balance the two.

It seems like everyone's experience with Benzaclin is so different. Some people swear by it, some people have bad reactions, and some people just don't see any results. It's frustrating trying to figure out what's going to work for you. I've been using Benzaclin for a few weeks now and I'm not seeing any improvement. I think I'm going to give it a little more time and if nothing changes, I'll switch to a different treatment. I'm glad I am not the only one feeling this way.

I've been using Benzaclin for a while and I've had no issues. I think the key is to start with a lower concentration and gradually increase if needed. I used the 1% to start, and it was perfect. I am happy I didn't just jump right into the 5% gel. I’d recommend that to anyone starting out. My skin was pretty sensitive, so this was a good way to introduce it to the topical. I like the results and will continue to use it as directed.
