I've been using Benzepro Creamy Wash Liquid for about a month now, and I'm not sure if it's working for me. The product claims to kill acne-causing bacteria and unclog pores, which sounds great in theory. However, I've experienced some itching and dryness around my application areas. Has anyone else had similar issues? Are these side effects worth it if the product works? I've also noticed a slight burning sensation, but it's not unbearable. I'm just curious if anyone else has had different experiences with this product.

I've had great results with Benzepro. I used to use it for my daughter's acne, she had a tough time with it when she was a teenager, but it really helped. I usually recommend the gel, because I usually apply it at night and makeup doesn't come off the gel as easily as the cream. However, for your face wash, you're good to go with the cream. My daughter swore by it.

It's not just you. Benzoyl peroxide can be harsh on some people. I had some dryness and itching. It went away after a few uses, but I switched to a milder face wash.

The product has a strong smell. It's not for everyone, but I don't mind it, it's better than the acne, but maybe find a sample before purchasing!

The burning sensation is normal. It means it's working. But if it's unbearable, you might want to switch to a lower concentration. An alternative would be differin gel. It's a bit more expensive, but is really good for acne

My mom is a dermatologist and she swears by it, but she's not convinced that the cream is better than the wash. But it's worth it to me. My hair is pretty oily, and it helps a lot. I miss the days when I could just wash my face, and not worry about my abs melting from the acne.

I felt like the Benzepro made my skin more dry and irritated. Not sure if it was the product or the fact that I've been using it while switching over to a more natural skincare routine. It was worth it for me though, my acne cleared up and I feel like I've got a much better skincare routine now.

Benzepro is a solid product, but it can be harsh on sensitive skin. I usually recommend the balancing cleanser to my patients who deal with acne. When I see patients with severe reactions it's usually because they didn't do a test application first, it's important for everyone to do this, not just those with sensitive skin. If anyone is thinking about trying it, try a small patch first, and if it's tolerable, you're good to go. It works wonders on acne.
