Hey everyone, I've been using Benzhydr/acetaminophen 6.12/325mg T for about a month now, and I've had some interesting experiences. I've been managing severe pain from a recent injury, and the extended-release feature of this medication has been a game-changer. I've noticed that I'm getting consistent relief for up to 12 hours, which is a significant improvement over other pain meds I've tried. However, I've also encountered a few side effects, and I'd like to hear from others who might have similar experiences.

I've had issues with dizziness and drowsiness, but nothing too severe. The constipation, though, has been a bit of a challenge. I've been trying to manage it with diet and exercise, but it's still a struggle. I'm curious to know if anyone else has tips for dealing with this side effect.

Overall, the medication has been helpful, but I'm looking for advice on how to handle the side effects better. If you have any tips or just want to share your own experience, I'd love to hear from you.

I was on this for a while. No issue for me with dizziness or drowsiness, but I sometimes felt shaky, sweaty and confused. I wasn’t sure what was happening. It never got bad enough to call my doctor, but I did take myself off the meds to see if it was them. It was. Be careful, friends.

I took this medication for a while, but the constipation was unbearable. I switched to a different med, and it's been a game-changer. As for the dizziness, I found that lowering my dosage helped, but consult a doctor before doing so. They have to approve any dosage changes.

This stuff is killer for pain, but I've been getting some serious skin reactions—crazy itching and redness. I'm not sure if it's the medication or if I'm allergic to something else. It's weird because I've never had reactions to pain meds before. Anyone else experience this?

Absolutely, I had drowsiness and constipation. I ate a lot of prune juice and fiber rich foods to combat the constipation. It worked, thankfully. As for the drowsiness, I tried taking it at night which helped a bit but it wasn’t enough. I started taking a half dose in the morning and the full dose at night and that seemed to work better for me. Check with a doctor before making any changes to your dosage, though.

Why is it so hard to get off these meds once you start taking them? I know it's dangerous for your body to have a drug like this for a long time, but my doctor won't take me off it. I've had it for over six months and need some help. Can anyone provide resources about how to get off this stuff?

I just started this. I'm on day 4, but I don't feel any of the side effects you guys are talking about. I've been really fortunate, I guess, but I'm prepared just in case. Good luck, everyone.

I hate to be a Debbie Downer, but I think these extended-release opioids are a really dangerous idea. I just had a scary experience with this medication. My loved one started acting really strange, and it ended up being a bad reaction. If you experience any crazy symptoms, get help immediately.
