Benztropine 0.5mg Tablets; Urgent Side Effects: Seek Medical Help Right Away!
I've recently been prescribed Benztropine 0.5mg Tablets to manage some symptoms of Parkinson's disease. The doctor mentioned it could help with tremors and stiffness, but the long list of potential side effects is worrying. Has anyone else had experience with this medication? I'm especially concerned about the urgent side effects like allergic reactions and hallucinations. Are these common, or should I expect to have a relatively uneventful experience? Any insights or advice would be greatly appreciated.

I've been taking Benztropine for a few months, and it has definitely helped with my muscle spasms. I've had a few episodes of constipation, but it usually resolves within a day. Just stay on top of your hydration, and you should be alright.
Be careful with this one. My mom was on it for her Parkinson's and she started having hallucinations. Had to stop taking it immediately. It's scary stuff.
How do you know if you're having hallucinations? What if I just imagine that I am having them?
I've been on Benztropine for a few months now, and while it's helped with my tremors, I've definitely experienced some side effects. The dry mouth is the worst, but I've managed it with sugar-free gum. Just stay hydrated and keep an eye out for any severe reactions.
So, I was on Benztropine for a while, and then I stopped because I started getting tremors again. So this med might not be meant for all of us who want to live with a shakey hand. Instead, my doctor changed me to another med. I'm still trying to find the right one for me.
