Betaxolol 10mg Tablets: My experience with side effects, questions about dosing, alternative treatments and what works?
I've been prescribed Betaxolol 10mg Tablets for my high blood pressure and angina. I'm taking them regularly as directed, but I'm curious to hear from others about their experiences. Has anyone else experienced any unusual side effects? How long did it take for the medication to start working effectively? I've read about some serious side effects, so I'm a bit nervous. Also, I'm interested in knowing if anyone has tried alternative treatments or if they've switched to a different medication. What has worked best for you? I'm looking for insights and support from fellow patients or medical professionals.

I've been on Betaxolol for a few months and I haven't had any major side effects. I got slight sleep disturbances at first, but that’s gone now I take it at night.
Just be aware that betaxolol can mess with your heart rhythm. If you feel any abnormal heartbeats, go to the ER.
I had a friend who reacted badly to it. Rash and itching and he had to go to the hospital. Betaxolol can be extreme for some people.
I've been on it for years and it's been lifesaving for my angina so I am sure it's worth the headache I get a couple of times a month. Different strokes for different folks
I tried a different beta-blocker and it worked better for me. Maybe it's worth talking to your doctor about alternatives if you're not seeing much improvement.
