Beware: Clobetasol Prop 0.05% Cream 45gm Side Effects and How to Avoid the Worst Ones
I've been prescribed Clobetasol Prop 0.05% Cream for my severe eczema, and while it's helped with the itching and redness, I'm a bit worried about the potential side effects. The list is quite long, and some of them sound pretty serious. I've been using it for a few days now, and I haven't experienced any adverse reactions, but I'm wondering if anyone else has had similar concerns. How do you guys manage the side effects of this prescription? Let's discuss how to avoid the worst ones, and what to do if something goes wrong.

I've been using Clobetasol for a while now, and I haven't had any major issues. Just make sure to use it exactly as prescribed and talk to your doctor if you have any concerns.
If you notice any signs of an allergic reaction, like rash, hives, or trouble breathing, get to a doctor ASAP. I had a friend who had a bad experience with a different steroid, but it could have been much worse.
I’m on my second tube and haven’t noticed any side effects. Just be careful not to use it too much, because it’s very potent as the doc says. A little goes a long way.
I had a bad reaction to this stuff. It's important not to overdose, it’s a very strong steroid.
I had some dry skin and redness right where I applied it, and it was pretty uncomfortable.
I used this for a while and ended up with some nasty skin changes. I switched to a milder cream and it’s been much better.
I used Clobetasol for my psoriasis, and it worked great. Just follow the instructions and you should be fine.
I’m just here to say that this thread is giving me the heebie-jeebies. Plz stop!
I had a doctor tell me that the side effects can actually vary based on how much you use, and the weather. Crazy!
