I've had Bupivacaine for several procedures. The first time, I didn't know what to expect and was terrified of the temporary paralysis. The second time, I was much more prepared and it went smoother. Knowledge is power, folks.
I had a spinal block with Bupivacaine for a c-section. I did have some temporary numbness and tingling in my legs, but it was worth it for the pain relief during surgery.
Be very cautious. I had a bad reaction to this and ended up getting a bad headache.
Make sure to discuss all possible side effects with your anesthesiologist before the procedure. It's important to be informed about what you might experience.
