I started taking Bicalutamide 50mg Tablets a few weeks ago as part of my prostate cancer treatment plan. I've read about the potential side effects, but I'm curious to hear from others who have experience with this medication. What side effects have you experienced, if any, and how have you managed them? Are there any alternative treatments or supplements that have helped you? I'm also interested in knowing if anyone has had any positive effects from taking this medication. I'm really hoping this medication helps slow down the cancer cells.

I've been on Bicalutamide for about a month now, and I haven't had any major side effects yet. Just some mild hot flashes and dizziness. Keeping my fingers crossed that it stays this way!

Glad you mentioned finasteride my doctor also recommended that one, but I haven't started taking it yet.

I've heard that some people experience erectile dysfunction as a side effect. Has anyone else dealt with this? I'm really worried about it, but my doctor said it's not guaranteed. Any tips or encouragement on managing this would be helpful.

I took Bicalutamide for a year after my prostate surgery. The side effects were pretty rough, especially the hot flashes and the breast tenderness. But I noticed a significant improvement in my PSA levels. I've since started a different medication regimen, and it seems to be working well.

I had some really bad liver problems when I was on this medication. I had to stop taking it immediately. It was scary, but I'm doing much better now. If you start to feel really sick or have any signs of liver issues, go to the doctor right away!

I know this is hard, but try to stay positive! We're all in this together. There are a lot of people who have gone through this and come out stronger. I found a support group locally, and it's been a huge help.

Honestly, the hot flashes are the worst. I had to buy a fan and keep it on me at all times. Worth it though, if it means the cancer isn't progressing.

I've been on Bicalutamide for about 6 months now. The hot flashes were brutal at first, but they've subsided a bit. I also experienced some dizziness and fatigue, but my doctor said these are common. I've started doing some light exercises to combat the fatigue, and it's been helping. I also did a lot of reading and found out that other medications can be very effective, like finasteride.

The worst part for me is the increased nighttime urination. I feel like I'm constantly getting up to go to the bathroom. It's been really tough on my sleep patterns. I went to an urologist and urologist recommended a certain diet to help but no avail. Anyone have any other recommendations on this matter?
