I was prescribed Bleomycin 30unit Inj 1 Vial to treat a type of lymphoma. The medication works by damaging the cancer cells' DNA to prevent them from growing. It's administered via injection and has shown some promising results. However, I am concerned about the potential side effects, especially the serious ones like allergic reactions, liver problems and kidney issues. I would like to hear from anyone who has taken this medication before so I can better prepare myself. Have any of you experienced significant side effects, and how did you manage them? Any insights or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah, the weight loss was the hardest part for me. Make sure to eat nutrient-rich foods and ask your doctor for supplements if needed.

I had a friend who got really bad kidney issues from this. She had to be hospitalized for a few days. It was scary, but she recovered.

I had mouth sores and irritation for weeks. It was tough to eat anything, but my doctor recommended a special mouthwash that helped a lot.

Be careful with this one, side effects can be really harsh. In my case, I felt tired and weak for weeks. But it's worth it if it helps with the cancer.

I've been through Bleomycin treatment myself and managed to get over the side effects with the help of my doctor. The thing that helped me the most was being proactive about my diet and staying hydrated. Make sure to communicate with your healthcare provider to manage symptoms effectively.

A friend of mine had a severe allergic reaction to this drug. It was terrifying, they had to rush to the ER. Be very cautious and monitor yourself closely, especially during your first few treatments.

This medication saved my life but it was a tough journey. Stay strong and keep your doctors informed about how you're feeling.
