Blisovi FE 1.5/30 is a combined oral contraceptive pill that contains two female hormones, estrogen (ethinyl estradiol) and progestin (norethindrone), and also includes iron (ferrous fumarate) tablets. This combination pill is designed to prevent pregnancy by inhibiting ovulation, changing cervical mucus, and altering the uterine lining. The added iron supplements help in preventing or treating iron deficiency anemia, which can sometimes be caused by menstrual bleeding.

While Blisovi FE is effective for many, it’s important to be aware of its side effects. There are some urgent side effects that require immediate medical attention, such as signs of allergic reactions, liver problems, high blood pressure, gallbladder issues, and blood clots. Other possible side effects include mood changes, breast tenderness, changes in vision, weight fluctuations, and alterations in menstrual patterns.

This post aims to discuss the potential side effects of Blisovi FE 1.5/30, and to share experiences and advice on how to best manage them. If you’ve tried Blisovi FE, let us know about your experience, side effects you may have encountered, and how your doctor helped you navigate any issues.

I switched to Blisovi FE from another pill because of the added iron, and I haven't had any significant issues. The most annoying side effect I'm experiencing is the mood swings. Is there anything that helps mitigate that?

Tried Blisovi FE last year and ended up with bad headaches and some really bizarre skin issues. My doctor switched me to a different pill, and it's been a lot better so far. Going through side effects can be tough, but it sounds like the breathability of these side effects can vary quite a bit from person to person. Some people have no issues, some have a lot. Keep an eye on it and talk to your doctor.

I didn't know these pills came with iron supplements! I've been taking iron separately for my menstrual bleeding.

I've heard a lot of people say that these pills cause more mood swings than other birth control pills. Anyone have experience with this? My mood has been more stable since I switched to Blisovi FE.

I really like how Blisovi FE helps stay in control of my periods. I had issues with really heavy bleeding on other pills, but this one has been a game-changer. It's worth it for me despite the minor side effects.

I think a lot of people forget that the iron in this pill can cause some side effects too. I got constipated for a while before I realized the iron tablets were the culprit. Tried getting more fiber in my diet, and that seemed to help a bit.

The biggest issue I've had with Blisovi FE is the breast tenderness. It's not just uncomfortable, it's sometimes actually painful. I’ve talked to my doctor about it, and she suggested wearing a more supportive bra, but it's not a perfect solution. Anyone else dealing with this?

I've been on Blisovi FE for about six months now, and the only side effect I've experienced is some weight gain but I hear that's pretty normal. Has anyone else had this issue? Any tips for managing it?

Anyone experience any vision changes? I've been feeling like my contact lenses don't fit well anymore, and I'm wondering if it's related to the pill or if I'm just being paranoid.

Just started Blisovi FE this month, and I'm a bit worried about the blood clots. How common are they really? Should I be worried?
