I've been prescribed Briviact 100mg Tablets for my partial-onset seizures, and I'm curious to hear from others about their experiences. How well does it work for you? I'm particularly interested in the side effects, especially the rare but severe ones. Have any of you experienced anything like allergic reactions or hallucinations? Also, how do you manage the more common side effects like dizziness or fatigue? Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

I'm glad I found this thread. I just started Briviact and was wondering if anyone else felt like they were walking around in a fog all the time. Fatigue is my worst enemy. I do have to be careful and monitor my surroundings so I don't trip over things or fall down the stairs. I'm just relieved to have fewer seizures. It's a trade-off I'm willing to make.

I wish I had known about the dizziness before starting Briviact. It's been a real challenge, especially since I have to drive to work. Now I have to deal with not driving and public transport so I have to adjust my schedule. It's not as convenient but I've been ok so far.

Dizziness is the worst, I feel like I'm walking on a boat. But yeah it seems to do the job, what else can you do? Docs say I'm lucky so far not to have horrible stuff happen to me. Just try to keep a low stress lifestyle and do everything you can to avoid seizures.

I've had some really scary moments with hallucinations. It's terrifying to see things that aren't there. My doctor adjusted my dosage, and it's been better since then. But it's something to be aware of. Also, keeping an eye on mood changes is crucial. If you feel like you're slipping into depression, you need to speak up.

Yes, the risk is real. I had a friend who had to stop taking it because of the suicidal thoughts. It's not something to ignore. If you or someone you know experiences this, get help immediately. I could tell something serious was wrong. But luckily they got support and recovered.

I appreciate you sharing this. Can anyone confirm if the risk of suicidal thoughts is real? Or is it just a warning we can ignore? I don't want to worry anyone but if it's really a concern it's worth looking into.

I'm grateful for Briviact, but the allergic reactions I had were scary. Swelling of the tongue and throat, and it was really hard to breathe. I thought it was life over for me, but I began to recover pretty quickly. Rushed to the hospital and it was ok. Definitely report anything weird to your doctor, no joke.

I've been on Briviact for a few months now, and it's been a game-changer for me. My seizures have decreased significantly, but I do get dizziness sometimes, especially in the first week of starting. I found that taking it with food helped a lot. The fatigue can be tough, but it's worth it to have some control over the seizures. Take it easy and try to nap if you can.
