I was recently prescribed Briviact 50mg/5ml Inj, 5ml for my epilepsy and I'm wondering if anyone else has experience with this medication? Specifically, I'm curious about the side effects and how they compare to other anti-epileptic drugs. The injection form seems a bit intimidating, but I understand it's necessary in certain situations. I've read about some serious side effects like allergic reactions, hallucinations, and suicidal thoughts. Has anyone experienced these? How were they managed? I'm also interested in hearing about any lesser-known side effects that I might encounter. Additionally, I'm concerned about the possibility of seizures in the case of a missed dose. Any tips on managing this? Thanks in advance for sharing your experiences and advice!

I had to stop using Briviact because of suicidal thoughts. It was a scary experience, but I'm glad I listened to my instincts and talked to my doctor right away. It's better to be safe.

I've had trouble with coordination and balance while using this. I would just advise to take things slow.

I can't believe how difficult keeping up with this is. I hope anyone can bring more information to the table.

I've been on Briviact for a while now and it's been a game-changer for my seizure control. The injection form was a bit scary at first, but the nurses in the hospital made it easy. As for side effects, I've had some dizziness and drowsiness, but nothing too bad. I'm just glad I can control my seizures.
