I recently started receiving Brixadi 16mg/0.32ml Pf Syringe Kit as part of my treatment plan for opioid use disorder (OUD). It's an injectable buprenorphine given once a week by a healthcare professional. It's a part of a complete treatment plan that includes counseling and support, and so far, it's helping with the cravings and withdrawal symptoms. I'd love to hear from others who are using this medication! Have you noticed any significant changes? What's your experience with the side effects? I'm curious to know how it fits into your overall treatment plan and how effective it's been for you. Any tips for managing the injection process or dealing with side effects would be appreciated!

Great thread! It's encouraging to hear from others who are going through the same thing. Stick with it, everyone—we are all fighting the good fight! Just keep going.

Wish I'd known about this sooner. I've been struggling with withdrawal and cravings for ages. Hoping this kicks in soon. I don't mind the injections, just wish they didn't make my injection sites itch so badly. Any tips for soothing them?

Definitely going to talk to my doctor about counseling and support services. I've been focusing too much on the medication and not enough on the holistic treatment. Thanks for the reminder!

I've been on Brixadi for a few months now, and it's been a game-changer. The injections are a bit uncomfortable, but the reduction in cravings has been huge. Just make sure to stay hydrated and keep an eye out for any signs of low blood sugar, especially if you're sensitive to changes in blood sugar levels

I've found that keeping a food journal and staying hydrated helps manage the side effects. Some days are definitely worse than others, but staying consistent with the treatment has made a big difference.

I’m really glad to hear that it’s helping others too. My doctor warned me about serotonin syndrome and told me to avoid certain medications. Has anyone had any interactions with other meds while on Brixadi? I'm a bit paranoid about mixing meds wrong.

Brixadi has been a lifesaver for me. I've noticed a significant reduction in opioid cravings, and my overall quality of life has improved. The injections are a bit inconvenient, but the benefits far outweigh the drawbacks. I just wish the injections were less painful. Has anyone found a good way to distract themselves while getting the shot?

I've been on Brixadi for a few weeks and it's been a bit of a roller coaster. Some days are great, others not so much. I'm just taking it one week at a time and hoping for the best. How long did it take for others to see real improvements?

I've had a couple of mild side effects, like dizziness and a bit of constipation, but nothing too bad. The counseling part of my treatment plan has been incredibly helpful though. I think it's really important to pair the medication with therapy to stay accountable and motivated.
