I'm considering starting Bupropion SR 150mg Tablets for depression and to help me quit smoking. The sustained-release formula sounds good for managing my symptoms. However, the list of side effects looks pretty scary! Has anyone else tried this and how did it go? I'm wondering if other antidepressants are better or worse in comparison, especially for people who also want to quit smoking. Also, staying on top of side effects like changes in eyesight or severe skin reactions is essential for me. What did your doctor say about these concerns?

I found that Bupropion really helped with my anxiety too, which was a nice bonus. But the insomnia was brutal at first. Tried melatonin and it helped a bit.

I've been on Bupropion SR for about 6 months now. It's been a game-changer for my depression, and I've noticed a significant reduction in my cravings to smoke. The side effects were tough at first—lots of headaches and dizziness—but they mostly went away after a few weeks. Just make sure to stay hydrated and take it with food to minimize stomach issues.

I tried Bupropion for smoking cessation, and it worked for me! However, the dry mouth was insane and the weird dreams got to me, so I switched to Chantix. No regrets!

Be careful with the seizures warning. My friend had a bad reaction and ended up in the ER. Definitely talk to your doctor about any history of seizures or other neurological issues. Good luck!

I was on Bupropion for a while, and while it did help with my depression, the increased blood pressure was a deal-breaker. My doc switched me to another med, and it’s been much better.

My doctor recommended an eye exam before starting Bupropion, and I'm glad I did. Turns out I had some early signs of glaucoma, and we caught it just in time. Definitely worth the peace of mind.

I’ve read that some people experience a weird metallic taste in their mouth. Has anyone else had that? It’s not mentioned in the side effects but maybe I’m just imagining things.

Why does it have to be taken twice a day? I'm already struggling with my med schedule, and another twice-a-day pill is annoying.

For anyone considering Bupropion, remember, these side effects are rare but serious. One friend got a severe rash and had to stop taking it immediately. Always err on the side of caution.

I switched from SSRIs to Bupropion SR and I feel so much more motivated and energized. The side effects were minimal for me—just some jitteriness at first. The sustained-release formula is a lifesaver; I only take it twice a day.
