Bydureon BCise: My experience using this once-weekly injection for type 2 diabetes
I've been on Bydureon BCise for about six months now to manage my type 2 diabetes. I was a little nervous about the weekly injections, but it's actually been quite manageable. The nursing team at the diabetes clinic taught me how to use the injector, and it really isn't any harder than using an insulin pen. I've noticed a big difference in my blood sugar levels—my A1C is much lower than before. The only downside is the possible side effects. Has anyone else been on this medication? How do you handle the potential side effects?

Does anyone else feel tired or weak after taking Bydureon on a regular basis? I've been feeling a little sluggish for the past week. I am not sure if it's the medication or something else.
I'm glad to see so many positive experiences here. It's good to know that Bydureon can really help with blood sugar control.
I switched to Bydureon because my doctor recommended it. It's a game-changer for me. My blood sugar levels are much better controlled, and I've lost some weight too. The injections aren't bad at all, and the once-a-week schedule is so much easier than daily shots.
Be sure you are taking it correctly. People have reported bad injection site reactions. I've been using Bydureon for a few months now, and I haven't had any major issues. The only thing I've noticed is a bit of nausea a few days after the injection, but it's not too bad and stays for a few days. I just make sure to eat something light for the next few days after I take it.
I'm on Bydureon and a few weeks ago, I got a rash around my injection site. It was a bit scary, but my doctor said it was just a reaction to the injection itself. I switched to a different injection site and it cleared up. Just be mindful where you are injecting.
I appreciate the positive feedback everyone but I am still hesistant to try Bydureon
I've been using Bydureon and have seen a big improvement in my blood sugar control. The only side effect I've noticed is some mild constipation, but it's manageable. I just make sure to stay hydrated and eat a lot of fiber.
I've been on Bydureon BCise for a year and I love it. My blood sugar levels have been much more stable, and I've noticed fewer spikes after meals. I've had a couple of instances where I felt a bit jittery, but my doctor said that could be due to low blood sugar and to keep snacks nearby.
My wife tried Bydureon but had to stop because of dizziness. She switched to another medication and it has been working out for her. But on the plus side it was nice not having to take it daily. Be sure to consult your doctor thoroughly.
