Hello everyone! I just started using Byetta 10mcg Pen for my type 2 diabetes. My doctor prescribed it to help with blood sugar control, but I'm already experiencing some side effects and I'm not sure if they're normal. Has anyone else had a similar experience? It can be really hard to keep track of what we are going through. I guess it's important to have a community where we can share our experiences with Byetta? The pen itself is easy to use, but the side effects are a bit concerning. I've been feeling nauseous and having some stomach pains, and I'm wondering if anyone else has dealt with this? If anyone has tips or info on what to expect, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks in advance!

Dude, I had a really bad reaction to Byetta. I was hospitalized and ended up with a severe case of pancreatitis. I had fever with chills and dark urine and I still get severe stomach pain and severe back pain. It was a rough time so please stay in touch with your Dr.

I've been using it for a couple of months and my A1C levels have gone down. I've had some mild side effects like nausea and itching at the injection site, but nothing I can't handle. Keep an eye out for any signs of an allergic reaction though—better safe than sorry.

Oh boy, I remember when I first started with Byetta. Unfortunately, I got severe skin irritation at the injection site. It was red and swollen and I had a hard time with it, but eventually it cleared up. Definitely worth it if it helps control your blood sugar. Just make sure to watch out for any major changes.

I had this happen to me and my doc told me to report it to the FDA on a form. It was a real hassle but it's important to get it out there. I hope you feel better soon! Always worth a shot to see what others have to say!

Jumping in here. First, it's good to know you're being proactive about your health. Byetta can be tough at first, but it's helped a lot of people. Just be sure to report any severe symptoms to your doctor right away. I'm glad you tried to ask others for their experiences.

I switched to Byetta from Exendin. I've always wondered if people had issues with the injection site?

The gallbladder issues are a real concern. I managed to avoid them but, eat healthy and exercise just in case.

Sounds like you're having a rough time. Make sure you're not taking it on an empty stomach or it might make the nausea worse. I also found it better to take my meds at night, which helped with the stomach issues. I had to adjust my diet a bit too, more fiber, less carbs. It was tough at first, but it's worth it in the long run. Stay strong!

I've been on Byetta for about six months now, and I have to say, it's been a bit of a roller coaster. At first, the nausea and diarrhea were pretty rough, but they've eased up a bit. I also had some weird skin irritation at the injection site, but it went away after a few weeks. Just remember to stay hydrated, and it helps to eat smaller, more frequent meals. It's worth it to keep your blood sugar under control.

I switched to Byetta from another medication, and honestly, it's been a game-changer for my blood sugar levels. No more morning lows, which is great. I didn't experience any severe side effects, just some mild nausea and headache but that has subsided. Definitely worth talking to your doctor about if you're struggling with blood sugar control.
