I've been prescribed Calan SR 120mg Tablets for my high blood pressure and I'm a bit worried about the side effects. The doctor said it helps to relax blood vessels and slow down my heart rate, which sounds good, but I've read about some pretty serious side effects. Has anyone else taken this medication? How has it worked for you? I'm particularly concerned about the urgent side effects like allergic reactions and liver problems. I'm hoping to hear some personal experiences and maybe some tips on managing any side effects that might come up. By the way, does anyone know if there are ways to mitigate the constipation or dizziness? I'd really appreciate some insights.

My doctor said that if I experience any shortness of breath or swelling, I should stop taking it immediately and go to the hospital. The medication is crucial — it’s kept my heartworking well, but I know these side effects are serious and need immediate attention.

I was really scared to take this medication because of the side effects, but my doctor assured me that the benefits outweigh the risks. I've been fine so far, but I'm always vigilant about monitoring any changes in my body. I do get a bit of a headache sometimes, but it's manageable.

I always feel a bit panicked when I read the side effects. I mean, what drug doesn't have a laundry list of potential issues? Take a deep breath, be aware, and if you have any doubts, your doc can help you change things.

I only took this as needed, so I'm not sure if that makes a big difference. I mean, I was taking other medicines too. I think the more medicines you take, the less of an idea you have of what is doing what.
