I've been using Calcipotrien/betamet Dip Oint 100gm for about a month now to treat my plaque psoriasis. It's been a game-changer in terms of reducing the redness, itching, and scaling. The ointment contains calcipotriene, a form of vitamin D, and betamethasone, a strong steroid, which together help slow down the overgrowth of skin cells. My dermatologist recommended it, and I've seen significant improvement. However, I'm a bit worried about the potential side effects, especially the serious ones. Has anyone else experienced any issues with this medication? I'd love to hear from others who have used it.

I started using it and had a bit of skin irritation where I applied it. Anyone else experience this? I talked to my doctor and they said it might be an allergic reaction, so I stopped using it.

I've had a similar experience. It helped a lot with the itching, but I noticed some hair growth in the area I used on my leg. Creepy! I talked to my dermatologist, and they said it was a rare side effect but nothing to worry about.

So far so good for me! No side effects, just clear skin. Fingers crossed it stays that way.

I've heard that this ointment can cause changes in skin color and eyesight. Has anyone had this happen?

I was surprised by how well it worked for me. I've tried other treatments and nothing has been as effective. Just be sure to follow the instructions carefully and keep an eye out for any signs of a severe reaction.

I had a bad reaction to this ointment. I got a rash and it was really itchy. I had to switch to a different treatment. I wish I had known more about the possible side effects before starting it.

This stuff is a lifesaver! I've been dealing with psoriasis for years, and this ointment has been the most effective treatment I've tried. Just be careful not to overuse it, as the steroid can have some serious side effects if not used correctly.

I’ve been really careful about applying it sparingly. I use a thin layer and wash my hands thoroughly after application, as the instructions suggest. The last thing I want is to deal with high calcium levels or a weak adrenal gland. Always best to be cautious!

I've been using it for about 2 months and I've experienced weight gain in my upper back and belly. I didn't think it was possible but apparently, it is.
