I've been taking Calcium Carb 648mg Tablets for a few months now, and they've been a lifesaver for my heartburn and indigestion. However, I've been experiencing some constipation, which is a bit concerning. I know calcium carbonate is great for building strong bones, but I'm wondering if there are any long-term effects I should be aware of. Has anyone else had similar experiences? Any tips on how to manage the constipation without stopping the medication? I've been drinking more water and eating more fiber, but it's not enough. Also, what should I do if I notice any other unusual side effects? Should I be worried about the possibility of a severe allergic reaction? I know the symptoms to look out for, but I want to be prepared just in case. Anyone have any advice?

I've noticed that some people experience constipation more than others. It might be worth keeping a food diary to see if there are any patterns. Also, drink plenty of water and stay active. Good luck!

I switched to a different brand of calcium supplements and the constipation went away. It might be worth trying a different formulation.

I've had some friends swear by these for their acid reflux. They say it's a game-changer. It's good to hear they work for you. Just be careful with the side effects and keep an eye out for any changes in your body. Constipation can be a real hassle, so it's worth looking into potential solutions. Have you tried increasing your fiber intake?

What about taking them with something acidic? I've heard it can help with absorption. Just a thought. But yeah, constipation is no joke.

I've found that taking a stool softener alongside the calcium tablets has helped me a lot. It's worth discussing with your doctor, but it might be a good temporary solution while your body adjusts.
