I've been taking Calcium Citrate 250mg Tablets for about six months now to support my bone health, as recommended by my doctor. I have to admit, I was a bit hesitant at first, given the potential side effects, but overall, it's been a positive experience. I have noticed some mild constipation, but taking a fiber supplement along with it has helped manage that. I've also read that some people experience stomach pain, but I haven't had that issue. I'm curious to hear from others who've taken this supplement: have you experienced any side effects, and if so, how did you manage them? I'm also interested in knowing if anyone has tried different brands and if they noticed a difference. Does anyone else take this supplement for their bones? How long have you been on it and what is your dosing regiment? The box says 1 per day but because I'm also taking magnesium I'm taking it twice per day and feeling not so great.

I think it's important to remember that everyone's body reacts differently to supplements. What works for one person might not work for another. It's always a good idea to consult with a healthcare provider before starting any new supplement. Maybe that will also help with the side effects you're experiencing.

I got some advice from my friend who's been taking this supplement for quite some time. He said he noticed a big improvement in my muscle function. I've been taking this along with magnesium tablets and I've actually noticed that I don't get cramps like I used to. So for me it's a big thumbs up. Just be careful if you're taking it with the other ones since they might interact with each other. I switch them up so that I don't take them together.

I started taking these after my doctor recommended them. I haven't noticed any side effects except for occasional constipation, which I manage with more fiber. It got me a bit worried since I was worried that I might have high calcium levels, but my doctor assured me that my blood tests were normal so it was a false alarm. I'd recommend talking to your doctor if you're experiencing any unusual symptoms. Because the box says one per day I'm a bit scared to take it more, but I think I might have to switch to a different supplement or up my calcium intake through foods.

I wish I could say I've had the same experience, but these tablets have caused me some issues. I noticed some bone pain a few weeks in, and I made an appointment to see my doctor. I ended up having to switch to something else.

I've had some stomach pain from these supplements in the past, but I'm not sure if it's related. I'm just trying to be careful before I start taking them regularly. Maybe it's worth taking them with food instead. Or maybe just drinking water before or after. That might help with the stomach issues.

Is it just me, or do these tablets taste really bad? I can't stand them.

Trying to remember to take them every day can be a challenge. Any tips for remembering? Can I take them daily even if I'm not at risk for calcium deficiency? I've been taking them off and on for the last six months.
