I've been taking Camrese Tablets 91s for the past year, and while I love the convenience of only having 4 periods a year, I've also experienced a few side effects. I'm curious to hear from others who have tried Camrese or similar extended-cycle birth control pills. What have your experiences been like? Have you encountered any major side effects, and if so, how did you deal with them? I've had some spotting and increased breast tenderness, but nothing too severe. I've also noticed some weight gain and mild headaches. The benefits of fewer periods and lighter flow are worth it for me, but I wish I had more information before starting. I did receive a lot of important info from my gynecologist, but it would be great to hear from others who've tried this. For me, I tried progestin-only pills in the past, but they caused horrible mood swings. I'm hoping to switch to Camrese permanently or perhaps explore other extended-cycle options.

My sister was on this and had a really bad experience. She ended up in the ER with bad headaches and high blood pressure. I'm glad I never tried it after hearing her story.

I've been on Camrese for about 6 months now. I had similar side effects like breast tenderness but the spotting was pretty intense. My doctor suggested giving it a bit more time to see if the side effects would go away. I'm hopeful because I don't want to go back to having a period every month. It's also been great for my acne. I used to take Ortho Tri Cyclen but it didn't agree well with my female hormones, so I'm pleased with the outcome so far.

I was really excited about Camrese, but after a few months, I had severe migraines. My doctor took me off it immediately, and I switched to a different brand. It was a bummer because I loved the idea of fewer periods, but my health comes first. I had experienced this issue with other birth control pills before, so I'm glad I didn't push it.

I've had some minor spotting but nothing too bad. My periods are way lighter and less painful. Plus, I've noticed some acne improvement which is a plus! I had this trouble with hormonal birth control in the past, so I feel lucky to have found a pill that works for me.

I really wish my doctor had warned me about the potential for weight gain and mood swings. I gained 10 pounds in the first 2 months and felt like a different person. I'm considering switching back to my old pill or going off birth control completely.
