Roflumilast is a medication used to reduce the frequency of flare-ups (exacerbations) and improve lung function in people with severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) associated with chronic bronchitis and a history of exacerbations. It works by reducing inflammation in the lungs. Roflumilast is specifically designed for long-term management and is not intended for sudden breathing problems. Has anyone here tried it? How has it worked for you? I'm curious to hear about both the positives and the challenges, as well as any tips for managing side effects or incorporating it into a treatment plan.

I've been on Roflumilast for a while and it's been a mix of good and bad. It reduces my flare-ups, but the weight loss is a real downer. (Edited: This post is in no way intended to be a replacement for medical advice.)

I wish it was a better fit for me but Roflumilast made me feel awful. Stick it out for a while though, the side effects might ease!

I'm skeptical about this medication. Anyone had any success stories? I need some solid evidence to convince my family to let me try the treatment.

I've been on Roflumilast for about a year now. It's definitely helped reduce my exacerbations, but I did experience some weight loss side effects in the beginning.

I haven't had any luck with Roflumilast. It didn't do much for me, unfortunately. I might have to try something else.

My doctor suggested Roflumilast, but I'm hesitant because of the potential side effects. Has anyone found any tricks to deal with the nausea or headaches?

Roflumilast is worth a shot if you're struggling with frequent exacerbations. Just make sure your doctor monitors you closely.

Roflumilast has been a game-changer for me. I used to have constant flare-ups, but since starting this medication, I’ve had much fewer issues.

I switched to Roflumilast after my doctor said it would help with my chronic bronchitis. No major issues so far, just hoping it keeps working!

I tried it and couldn't tolerate the side effects, so I switched back to my old medication. Different strokes for different folks, I guess. It might work better for some people with chronic coughing.
