I've been prescribed Captopril 12.5mg Tablets for my high blood pressure, and I'm curious to hear from others who have taken this medication. I've experienced some mild side effects like a persistent cough, but what really worries me are the severe side effects listed. Has anyone here had any serious issues? I'm particularly concerned about the signs of liver problems and kidney issues. How do you monitor these while taking Captopril? Additionally, I’ve noticed some changes in taste, which is a bit annoying but manageable. I’m just looking for advice and shared experiences from others who are familiar with this medication. Please share your stories, tips, and any concerns you might have.

I’ve been on Captopril for years, and it’s been a lifesaver for my blood pressure. I did experience an allergic reaction initially, but my doctor switched me to a different medication with a lower dose. Always listen to your body and consult your healthcare provider if you notice anything unusual.

I’ve been on Captopril for a while, and I haven’t had any severe side effects, but I do have to be extra careful with potassium levels. I had to cut out a lot of bananas from my diet. Anyone else have to make big changes to their diet?

I’ve always had issues with liver problems, so I was really careful when starting Captopril. Regular checkups kept everything in check. Just make sure to go for frequent blood tests to monitor your liver function.

I've noticed a change in taste too, but it's not that big of a deal. What really bothers me is the constant cough. Anyone else having this issue? Do you guys have any remedies?

I got a bad rash and had to stop taking it. It was scary, but thankfully I caught it early. Just be vigilant and don’t ignore any weird symptoms.

This medication really helps with my blood pressure, but I’ve had some really bad bruising and bleeding. It’s weird and kind of concerning. Has anyone else experienced this?

I had a really bad experience with Captopril. I got severe nausea and vomiting, and it was horrible. My doctor switched me to something else, and I felt better right away. Definitely not worth the risk for me.
