I've been prescribed Carbidopa/Levodopa 25mg-250mg Tabs for my Parkinson's symptoms and am beginning to feel hopeful. I've heard from people who have experienced some of the less severe side effects, such as dizziness and trouble sleeping, but I still have some concerns about the more serious side effects. I'd like to know from anyone who has experience with this medication, what has your experience been like? Has anyone been able to find a way to mitigate the more challenging side effects?

Has anyone tried adjusting their dose to see if they can reduce the severity of the side effects?
I stopped taking my dose mid-day and it has helped a lot. I was having trouble falling asleep, but with this small adjustment, the sleep problems have subsided
I've been on this for a year now and it has been life changing. The side effects are completely worth it when you can move around freely
I was worried about the dark red, brown, or black color in my urine, but my doctor confirmed it is harmless. Phew!
I've had some weird dreams since starting this. I wonder if that's normal?
I experienced a rare side effect: a sudden, uncontrollable urge to gamble. I had to stop taking the medication immediately. Be aware!
I'm so glad I found this thread. I've been feeling really depressed since starting this medication. I thought it was just me, but it looks like others are experiencing this, too. I couldn’t decide if it was just the stress of it all, or something more.
I had a weird skin lump appear while taking this. Doctors told me it was unrelated but I'm still not sure
