I've recently started taking Carb/lev/entac 37.5-150-200mg Tabs as part of my treatment regimen for Parkinson's Disease. I was initially excited about the promise of reduced 'off' times, but I've run into a few unexpected issues. The most significant for me has been the persistent drowsiness. It's not just a little tiredness; it's a sudden, overwhelming sleepiness that can hit at any time. I've had to be extra cautious about driving and doing anything that requires alertness. I've also experienced some minor stomach issues, but that's been manageable. Has anyone else dealt with the sleepiness, and if so, how have you managed it? I've talked to my doctor, and we're looking into adjusting the dosage, but I'd love to hear from others who might have gone through something similar.

These meds are a lifesaver, but they come with a lot of baggage. Just remember to stay in close contact with your healthcare provider and report any issues ASAP. Good luck!

I had some serious stomach issues when I started taking Carb/lev/entac. I tried everything to manage it, but in the end, I had to switch to a different medication. Just be prepared to try a few things if the side effects are too much.

I've been on these tabs for about a year now, and while I've had some mild side effects, the reduction in 'off' times has been a game-changer. The key is really to communicate with your doctor and make adjustments as needed. It’s a lot of trial and error, but it’s worth it in the end. Stick with it!

I wonder if the drowsiness is related to the entacapone? I've heard it can cause some weird side effects. Either way, good luck with your treatment!

I think this med is awesome. I've had to deal with some hallucinations and dizziness, but the benefits far outweigh the risks for me. Just keep an eye on the side effects and talk to your doctor.

I’m really sorry to hear you’re dealing with this. I’ve been on a similar med and didn’t experience the sleepiness, but I did get some weird urges. It’s crazy how these drugs affect everyone differently.

Be careful with the sudden sleepiness! I had an experience where I nearly fell asleep at the wheel. It was terrifying. Now I take my medication with a full meal and it seems to help.

I’ve been on this med for a few months now, and the drowsiness was a big issue for me too. My doc had me adjust my dosage and timing, and it helped a lot. Just be patient and work closely with your healthcare provider.

I'm glad to hear that the medication is helping with the 'off' times. I've been dealing with tremors and stiffness a lot lately, so I'm thinking of switching to this. Any other tips for managing side effects?

I've never had a problem with these tabs! Maybe I'm just lucky, but they've really helped manage my symptoms. Just make sure to report any side effects to your doctor.
