Hey everyone, I recently had to use Carboprost Tro 250mcg/ml Pf Syr Inj to stop severe bleeding after childbirth. I had never heard of this drug before and I got a bit alarmed to see the list of possible side effects. Turns out, I had a bad reaction to it. Has anyone else had a severe experience with this medication? What happened and how did you and your doctor manage the situation? I am terrified as this drug is not so wildly discussed online, and I feel it should be.

I've used Carboprost a few times and never had any side effects. I think it's important to note that everyone reacts differently to medication. This might have been a one-off severe reactivity but hopefully, you are okay now.

Wow, I had no idea this drug could cause such severe reactions. I'm glad I didn't have to use it. It's amazing how different people react to the same meds. I feel like maybe this needs more public awareness.

This drug is a lifesaver! I used it during my last pregnancy and it was great.

I had a horrible reaction and ended up in the hospital. It's scary how little information there is about this drug out there. I had to do a lot of research and doctor visits to understand what happened. Try to talk to your doctor about anything you feel is a bit too much for you to handle.

I had a really bad reaction. I felt like I was dying. My doctor said it was normal, but I had no idea.

This is one of the drugs that is used for post childbirth that can cause panic even if you've never spoken to someone that had a bad reaction. I'd recommend talking to your doctor a little more if you have any more questions. They are a great resource for this.

I had a similar experience with Carboprost. The severe headache and dizziness were the worst parts. I had to go to the ER because I thought I was having a stroke. My doctor said it was a severe reaction to the drug. I was so relieved when I found out it wasn't something more serious. Still, it was scary.

This is terrifying. I had no idea that Carboprost could cause such severe reactions. I've had it for a procedure, though. I had to make a choice between a pill or an injection and boy I'm glad I picked the pill. Doctors should really inform us about these possibilities before hand.
