I've been prescribed Cardizem 120mg Tablets to manage my high blood pressure and occasional chest pain (angina). This medication has significantly improved my quality of life by relaxing my blood vessels and slowing my heart rate, making it easier for my heart to pump blood. However, I've had some concerns about the side effects, particularly the severe ones. I've noticed some dizziness and tiredness, but nothing too alarming. I'm curious if others have had similar experiences and how they've managed them. Also, I've heard about the rare but serious side effects. Have any of you had any problems?

Has anyone had trouble with dizziness or fainting? I've had a couple of episodes and it's a bit concerning. Any tips on managing this?

Make sure to take your Cardizem with food. It really helps with any potential stomach issues. Also, if you feel any signs of an allergic reaction, don't wait—get to the hospital. I've heard horror stories, and it's not worth the risk.

I've been on Cardizem for a while and have had no issues. Just make sure to follow your doctor's advice and report any unusual symptoms. It's a good medication if you need it, but always be cautious.

I took Cardizem for about a month, and it was great for my blood pressure but I had a bad reaction when I added another allergy medication. I had to go to the ER. It was scary but I'm ok now. Just be careful if you're taking other meds.

My mom has been on Cardizem for years, and it's worked wonders for her angina. Just remember to stay hydrated and avoid heavy lifting or other strenuous activities until you know how the medication affects you. And if you feel any severe side effects, definitely go to the ER.

Hey, good thread. I've heard some people have had issues with severe skin reactions. I guess it's rare, but still scary. How often do these side effects show up?

I had to stop taking Cardizem because I developed a severe skin reaction. It was terrifying, but thankfully, I caught it early enough and my doctor was able to help. I now take a different medication, but I'm still grateful for the relief Cardizem provided when I needed it.

I've been on Cardizem for a few months now, and it's really helped with my blood pressure. I've only had a few headaches, nothing major. Just make sure to monitor your heartbeat and contact your doctor if you notice any irregularities. It's better to be safe!

I switched to Cardizem from another medication because I was experiencing too many side effects. So far, so good. I just keep an eye on my blood pressure and heart rate and report any changes to my doctor. It's a bit of a hassle, but worth it for the improvement in my symptoms.

I started taking Cardizem a couple of weeks ago, and I've noticed some dizziness and fatigue. I'm hoping it will pass as my body adjusts to the medication. Has anyone else experienced this?
