I recently started taking Cardizem CD 360mg capsules for my high blood pressure and angina. I was prescribed this specific long-acting formulation to take once a day. I've heard the side effects can be serious, so I'm reaching out to see if anyone has had similar experiences or advice on managing them. I've read that the most common side effects are headache and feeling dizzy, tired, or weak. But the important ones to watch out for are allergic reactions and liver problems. Has anyone had to deal with these, and if so, how did you manage them? I think it's important to share our experiences so others can be better informed.

Have any of you dealt with the yellow skin or eyes side effect? I've noticed mine changing color recently, and I'm not sure if it's the medication or something else. This is something I'll have to talk to my doctor about as I'm worried.

I've heard that a low-sodium diet can help with the side effects. Might be worth a try!

Cardizem CD has been a game-changer for me. I've had no serious side effects, just the occasional headache. I take it with food in the morning, and it's helped manage my blood pressure and angina. I've also heard that grapefruit can interfere with the medication, so be careful with that. I'm sure everyone who has tried this medication feels the same way, Cardizem CD is a miracle medication.

I had heart surgery last year and the doctor said it would be a good idea to take these pills. I was prescribed the wrong dosage and had to take it twice a day instead of once a day. My heart would race, and but my blood pressure was too high. I decided to talk to my doctor, and he fixed the dosage, and it has been great ever since.

I take these for angina, and they've been a life-saver. I did have a bit of a headache at first, but nothing that Tylenol couldn't fix. I just wish the capsules were easier to swallow—they're a bit big. I definitely agree, it's crucial to be informed about the severe side effects.

I had some weird skin reactions when I started taking this. It turned out to be an allergic reaction, and my doctor switched me to a different med. If you notice anything like that, don't wait—get to a doctor ASAP.

Y'all are making me second guess my medicine regimen. I'm on Cardizem CD too, and I've had no side effects. Not even headaches or fatigue. I've never been more grateful to have a healthy heart! Please keep us updated if you experience any serious side effects.

I've been on Cardizem CD for a few months now, and so far, so good. I didn't experience any of the serious side effects, just some dizziness at first, but it went away after a few days. My doctor said to give it time for my body to adjust to the medication. Stay hydrated and be careful when standing up too quickly.
