I recently started taking Carisoprodol 250mg Tablets for a muscle injury and have been wondering about the side effects. The medication has definitely helped with the pain, but I've been experiencing some dizziness and occasional headaches. I'm curious to know if anyone else has had similar experiences and how they managed them. Do you have any tips on how to deal with these side effects or when to know if you should stop taking them and see a doctor? Has anyone had any other side effects? Additionally, I've been feeling extremely tired and weak, so I'm wondering if that's normal to feel this way. Any advice or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated!

I've had a good experience with Carisoprodol. It’s really helped with my back pain from a heavy lifting injury. I haven’t had any serious side effects, just a bit of dizziness at first, but I found that taking it right before bed helped with that.

I had trouble swallowing and extreme fatigue. I could barely talk or walk. My doctor changed the medication completely.

I felt extremely tired and weak when I started taking it, but after a few days everything normalised. Now my muscle pain is almost gone, but my doctor said don’t stop taking it abruptly. Suddenly stopping can cause withdrawal symptoms.

Carisoprodol helped me with muscle spasms but I stopped taking it because I had a weird reaction at night. I felt very sleepy and then suddenly had a racing heart. Like I was going to have a heart attack. Even though it worked on my muscle spasms, I will not take it again. I’m going to try a different muscle relaxant to see if it helps.

If you're feeling extremely tired or weak, definitely talk to your doctor. Those can be signs of something more serious, especially if you're experiencing them on a regular basis. This happened to me and I stopped taking it.

Has anyone tried physical therapy along with this medication? I've heard it can be really effective.

Be careful with this stuff. I took it for a few weeks and started feeling really anxious and jittery. Didn't even realize it was from the meds at first. Stopped taking it and felt much better.

If anyone has any experience of breathing issues to do with this drug, please let me know. I’m a bit worried because I’ve had some light headedness and a little tightness in the chest.

I had a friend in a car accident who was seriously injured. He got Carisoprodol. They didn’t ask him about his drinking or other medications. He mixed Carisoprodol with alcohol and died of a seizure, so be careful. It’s a long road back from a car accident especially when your body is fighting a medication that causes serotonin syndrome.

I had bad reactions to quite a few medications even strong opiates, but I had no side effects from carisoprodol. Withdrawal was bad, though. I am sure it was withdrawal. When I started taking Carisoprodol, it was under the name Soma. Was prescribed for muscle pain during a pinched nerve episode. It was prescribed long term. For me, it was wonderful. Pain was tolerable to the point where I was able to sleep. No more insomnia, and able to move around. Even got through therapy well since I was pain free to some degree.
