I've been using Carteolol Hcl 1% Oph Sol 15ml eye drops for a few months now to manage my glaucoma, and I wanted to share my experience. This medication has been helpful in lowering my intraocular pressure, and it's easy to apply. However, I've had occasional issues with eye irritation and a burning sensation. Has anyone else experienced similar side effects? I'm curious to know how others are finding this treatment. Are there any tips or tricks for managing the discomfort while using this medication?

I've been on Carteolol for a while and haven't had any issues with irritation or burning. But I do get a strange taste in my mouth sometimes. It's very subtle but noticeable. Anyone else experience this?

Something about a burning sensation makes me feel like I'm pouring acid into my eye. Anyone else feel like this? Looking for solutions that don't involve hot peppers!

My eye doctor warned me about the rare but serious side effects, like abnormal heartbeat and swelling. I'm not sure I'm comfortable with the risks. Has anyone had any serious issues?

I've been using it for a year now to control my intraocular pressure and have seen great results. I didn't experience any significant side effects other than some mild dizziness at first. It went away after a few weeks. Good luck, OP!

I was really worried about the side effects, but so far, I've only had mild sinus irritation. It's not too bad, and I've been sticking with it as per my doctor's advice. Fingers crossed it stays this way!

I'm surprised by how many people are having trouble. I've only had minor irritation. My doctor gave me some samples for a month. Worked pretty well for me. I didn't even notice any of the other side effects listed. I think everyone's different. Good luck, everyone!

I started using these eye drops a few weeks ago, and I've had a rash and some itching around my eyes. I'm not sure if it's a reaction or just a coincidence. Has anyone else experienced this? Should I be worried?

I've had trouble sleeping since I started using these drops. It's frustrating because I was hoping for a smooth transition. Has anyone found a way to manage this side effect?

I find that applying the drops at night helps with the dizziness. It's not a perfect solution, but it makes a difference. Also, I've started keeping a sleep journal to figure out if it's the drops or something else.
