I had a bad reaction to Carteolol. I got hives and had trouble breathing. Scariest moment of my life. I had to go to the ER. I would not recommend this to anyone with a history of severe allergic reactions.
Carteolol saved my vision. I had severe eye pain and changes in eyesight before I started using it. Now, my vision is better and the pain is gone. It has some side effects, but I think it's worth it. I'm sure if no one else happens to have severe side effects.
I got a prescription for Carteolol for my glaucoma, the same thing my dad has. I worried about muscle weakness because of his experience but I haven't really felt it so far.

I switched to Carteolol from another beta-blocker because of the side effects I experienced. It's been a lot better, but I still get some sinus irritation. It's a trade-off, but worth it for the eye pressure control.
Has anyone had changes in taste? I've noticed my food doesn't taste the same anymore. Not a fan of that side effect.
