I recently started taking Carvedilol ER 80mg Capsules for high blood pressure and heart failure. The doctor explained that it works by relaxing blood vessels and slowing the heart rate, which helps the heart pump blood more efficiently. I've read about the possible side effects, especially the serious ones, and I'm a bit worried. Has anyone else had experience with this medication? What should I look out for?

I had to stop taking it because I felt constant coldness in my arms and legs. It was really uncomfortable.

Be careful with this one, the side effects can be scary. I got really bad rash and hives and had to stop taking it.

I had a friend who had severe dizziness and fainting spells. He had to switch to another medication. It's scary how these drugs can affect everyone differently.

I've been on Carvedilol ER for a few months now, and it's been a game-changer for my heart failure symptoms. The doctor warned me about the side effects, but I haven't experienced any serious ones yet. Just a bit of dizziness occasionally.

I had a slight headache and some diarrhea when I first started, but it went away after a week. Just keep an eye on how you feel and talk to your doctor if something doesn't seem right.

If you experience any abnormal sensations like burning, numbness, or tingling, definitely get that checked out. Better safe than sorry!

I heard it might cause problems with urination. Has anyone else experienced that?

My doctor mentioned that Carvedilol ER can sometimes worsen heart failure in some people, so it's important to monitor your symptoms closely. I've been lucky so far, though, no issues here.

Any weight gain issues with this drug? I’m already watching my weight and don't want any more challenges.
