I've been taking Catapres 0.1mg Tablets for a few months now to manage my high blood pressure, and they've been doing a great job. However, I've been dealing with some unpleasant side effects, like dry mouth and dizziness. I've read that these are common, but I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced severe side effects? The list of potential issues is quite scary, especially the severe allergic reactions and abnormal heartbeats. I'm considering talking to my doctor about adjusting the dosage or switching medications. Does anyone have any advice or similar experiences to share?

I've been on Catapres for a while, and it's been a lifesaver for my hypertension. Just had to manage the side effects, but it's worth it.

If you're feeling any of the severe side effects, don't wait. I got sick to my stomach and couldn't get out of bed for days. That's when I knew I had to go to the ER to get it checked out. Trust your gut, literally.

I started taking Catapres and felt so dizzy I could barely walk straight. My doctor switched me to another medication, and I felt so much better. Maybe you should consider that too.

How are your withdrawal symptoms? Catapres can be tough to get off, so it's good to know that you have a plan with your doctor to taper off, if you decide to.
