I've been prescribed Bromfenac 0.07% Opth Solution for post-cataract surgery care. Has anyone else used this medication? I'm curious about real-world experiences, especially regarding side effects. The list of possible side effects seems quite long and concerning. I had an allergic reaction to a medication once, and I'm a bit nervous about that possibility again. Did anyone experience any vision changes or eye irritation? How long did those symptoms last? And what was the doctor's advice? I'm looking for any insights or advice, especially from those who might have had a bit more severe experience. Let's discuss and share our stories here.

I used Bromfenac after my cataract surgery last year, and while it did the job, I definitely experienced a burning sensation right after. It was uncomfortable, but my doctor said it's normal. Just be prepared for that feeling.

I also had a nasty headache after using Bromfenac. It lasted for a couple of hours, but it was pretty intense. I took some Tylenol, and it helped, but it's definitely something to be aware of. Might be worth asking your doctor for options if headaches seem to be a side effect.

Bromfenac really helped with the pain and swelling after my surgery, but I had some redness and itching. My doctor said it's a common side effect, and it went away within a week. Just keep an eye out for anything more severe and definitely mention it to your doctor.

I honestly had no problems with this stuff. Just follow the directions, and you should be fine. It's a bit expensive, though. I'm glad it works, but the cost was a bit high for me.

That’s reassuring to hear—even if you had to swap meds. That burning sensation is pretty rough, but it's good to know it's likely normal. I'm glad the floaters went away for you. Mine lasted a bit longer but eventually disappeared.

It's important to know who to call if you ever need medical help. For most Canadian customers this is probably 911. But if you're in the states you can reach the FDA at 1-800-332-1088 so you can report those side effects.

Be careful with this stuff—it looks like the side effects include some serious allergic reactions. Keep an eye out for swelling or trouble breathing. Though, it's worked well for me, but I’ve had no side effects. Fingers crossed for you!

Maybe it's just my luck, but I ended up with a worse allergic reaction. Swelling around my eyes and actually problem breathing. Going to the ER was super scary, but I'm glad I did—laughing plus I didn't get the side effect of hoarseness.

I had a pretty bad experience with this. I got some redness and a weird feeling like something was in my eye but no floaters to speak of. I mentioned it to my doctor, and they said it could be an allergic reaction. It went away after I stopped using the drops, but I ended up switching to a different medication. If you notice anything like this, be sure to get in touch with your doctor right away.
