I used Bromfenac after my cataract surgery last year, and while it did the job, I definitely experienced a burning sensation right after. It was uncomfortable, but my doctor said it's normal. Just be prepared for that feeling.
I also had a nasty headache after using Bromfenac. It lasted for a couple of hours, but it was pretty intense. I took some Tylenol, and it helped, but it's definitely something to be aware of. Might be worth asking your doctor for options if headaches seem to be a side effect.

Maybe it's just my luck, but I ended up with a worse allergic reaction. Swelling around my eyes and actually problem breathing. Going to the ER was super scary, but I'm glad I did—laughing plus I didn't get the side effect of hoarseness.
