I was prescribed Cefadroxil 250mg/5ml Susp 100ml for a severe throat infection, and it seemed to do the trick. However, I've been experiencing some side effects that are making me wonder if others have had similar issues. The leaflet warns about some serious side effects, but I want to know if anyone else has dealt with the more common ones, like diarrhea, and how they managed it. Should I be concerned about the possibility of more serious side effects? How have others handled the potential for these more dangerous reactions?

I took the medication as prescribed, but after a few days, I started experiencing some discomfort in my stomach. It's not clear if it's from the antibiotic or another issue. I've had to take frequent trips to the bathroom, and to be honest, it's been really inconvenient. Anyone have tips on how to manage this or if it might indicate a more serious issue?

I also noticed that the information provided mentioned reporting such side effects to the FDA. Has anyone had to do this? If so, what was the process like?

I'm really curious if someone who has had to deal with any of the more severe side effects, especially allergic reactions, might be able to share their experience. It'd be helpful to know how quickly symptoms appeared and what steps they took to address them.

Overall, I'm glad the medication is working, but the side effects are making me a bit uneasy. Any advice or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated!

I had the same issue with diarrhea. It was tough, but my doctor recommended taking probiotics and it helped a lot.

I've been on Cefadroxil before and never had any issues. But I did have a friend who had to go to the ER because of a severe reaction. It's scary to think about, but it's good to be aware. I think it's really important to listen to your body and if something feels off, don't hesitate to contact your doctor. Better safe than sorry, right? My doctor always tells me to keep a close eye on any changes in my stool, especially if it's severe or bloody. That could be a sign of something more serious, like C. diff-associated diarrhea, or CDAD. If you notice any of these symptoms, seek medical attention right away!

I remember having to call the FDA about a different medication, and it was a pretty straightforward process. They were very helpful and guided me through the reporting process. It's worth doing if you think the side effects are serious.

I had a friend who experienced unexplained bruising while on antibiotics. It was really scary, and she had to stop taking the medication immediately. She ended up being fine, but it was a close call.

Diarrhea isn't fun, but it's manageable. Just make sure you stay hydrated and eat bland foods until it passes.

Be cautious with antibiotics. You need to follow the instructions to the letter to avoid complications. Very important to avoid diarrhea as it can be dangerous.

Has anyone else noticed changes in their urine? I'm starting to worry because mine has gotten darker. Is this something to be concerned about?
