I recently started taking Cefpodoxim Prox 100mg/5ml susp 50ml for a throat infection and wanted to share my experience. This antibiotic has been effective in reducing my symptoms, but I've also encountered some side effects. I've read about the potential for severe allergic reactions and diarrhoea, but I'm more concerned about the less severe side effects like stomach discomfort and headaches. Has anyone else had similar experiences with this medication? How did you manage the side effects? Any advice would be appreciated.

Make sure to report any side effects to your doctor. They might be able to adjust your dosage or switch you to a different medication if the side effects are too severe. Your health is important!

I've taken this before for an ear infection and had no issues at all. Different strokes for different folks, I guess.

I had a friend who got C. diff from antibiotics. It's scary stuff. Make sure to finish your full course of antibiotics even if you feel better. It's important to kill all the bad bacteria.

I've been taking Cefpodoxime for a few days and I'm not feeling any side effects. Maybe I'm just lucky.

I had a really bad reaction to Cefpodoxime. I developed hives and had trouble breathing. I had to go to the ER, it was terrifying. I'm really careful with antibiotics now.

I had a terrible headache and some nausea when I took this. I had to stop taking it because it was so bad. I wish I had known about the potential side effects before starting it.

I've heard that drinking lots of water can help with the nausea. I think it helps dilute the medication in your system. It also helps with the diarrea.
