I was prescribed Cefprozil 500mg Tablets for a severe sinus infection. The antibiotic seems to be working well, but I can't help but worry about the potential side effects. I've heard horror stories about severe allergic reactions and other complications. Has anyone else had a good or bad experience with this medication? I want to be prepared for anything. Does anyone know what severe diarrhea looks like? TIA

I am on Cefprozil now for an ear infection. I haven't had any side effects yet. My doctor said I'll probably have some upset stomach, so I'm just going to stick with some food and hoping for the best. I'm just hoping it helps. I hate ear infections

I've had to take Cefprozil a few times for skin infections, never had any really bad side effects, nothing worth worrying about. Every medication has its risks, if you're worried, talk to your doctor.

I was on Cefprozil for a throat infection and didn't have any major issues, but I did feel an upset stomach on some days. It wasn't so bad with food. Overall, I think it was worth it to get better. Goodbye to strep

I had a pretty bad reaction to Cefprozil. I broke out in hives and had trouble breathing. I had to go to the ER, it was scary. But I'm glad I got the help I needed. Be careful and listen to your body

I had a few mild side effects, nothing too serious. Just some mild stomach issues. But who doesn't get those? I wouldn't worry too much, everyone is different. Next time, I'll take it with food though. I had a weird stomach feeling when I took it on an empty stomach. But it helped clear up my ear infection, thank goodness
