Ceftin 500mg Tablets: My Experience with Cefuroxime for Sinus Infections
I was recently prescribed Ceftin 500mg Tablets (Cefuroxime) for a persistent sinus infection. I've taken the entire course exactly as prescribed, and while it's worked wonders, I've had some questions and concerns regarding the side effects. Has anyone else taken this medication and experienced any of the more serious side effects like severe diarrhea or allergic reactions? I'm curious to get feedback from others and any tips for managing the potential side effects. I know if I feel really sick I will have to go to a Doctor, just hoping other people have a good experience.

I had no side effects at first, but then I started getting cramps and went to the ER. Turns out I had C.Diff. 10/10 would not recommend that one though.
I had a bad reaction to it. I got a rash and had to stop taking it. Definitely not worth it for me.
My doctor warned me about the potential for yeast infections. Anybody else experience this?
I have a bad habit of forgetting to take my pills. Any tips for remembering? I don't want to mess up my treatment.
I had diarrhea but nothing too bad. I just made sure to drink lots of water and it was fine.
I had a friend who had an allergic reaction to Ceftin. He had to go to the hospital because of breathing trouble. Scary stuff.
